Friday

I still was not feeling all that well on Friday, but I felt the need to follow through on the Lisa thing, not so much because I am a good guy but rather I wanted to not feel like I needed to make up for this one.  Things actually were not as bad I thought they would be.  Although I think she got the message that this was a "friendly" date when 5 of my firends meet us at the theater.  Shrek 2 was very, very cute.

After the movie the plan was to go to a house party.  I wasn't so sure I wanted to go cause I really did not want to be sick the entire weekend that I was planning on being at the lake, but since everyone else I was with was going I said WTF and went.  It turned out being really cool.  Since I was sick, I was the DD for the evening which was straight.  I saw a ton of peeps I have not seen in a long fucking time.  The biggest surprise was that Tiffany was there (she is the only real person on my last x gf post).  She was back from school, so we had a ton of catching up to do.  The last time we saw each other she was home for springbreak with her "new" boyfriend.  Well the "new" boyfriend is now and "x" bf.....lol  Plus she does not think that she will be returning to school out west.  Which caught me by surprised.  She got a bit caught up in the party life and not so much in the "need" to study life.  She thinks a school closer to home might be better for her, she may actually start at a community college to regain the credits she fell behind.  This is so weird cause she was really smart in high school, but I know how the freedom in college can fuck with a person.

The party came to an end around 2 am....I got out of driving Lisa home so the evening turned out perfect.  The typical nice to see everyone bs and promises to keep in touch but most of us never will until the next big party.

Saturday

I pretty much slept the entire drive up to Lake Geneva.  The weather was a mixture of heavy storms to bright sun the entire weekend.  My bro was waiting for us when we arrived.  It seems like ages since I saw him last (he is staying up in Madison, WI this summer).  My bro's name for those who don't know it is Jon.  Well I hoped out of the rents car and into my brithers and we went to visit Jon's gf who lives right outside of Lake Geneva.  My parents had this wtf look on their faces, it was so funny.

Once we picked up Mia and some of her friends we went to make street to grab some food and hang out.  We got so fucking wet because it would be completely sunny one min and then it would be pissing rain in buckets.  The highlight of the after noon was me riding a mechnical horse in the rain while Mia's friends were laughing their asses off.  My brother is like "That's Jay."

Jon and I headed home to hang ou with the parents for a while.  Cleared up enough to take the boat for a spin.  My dad and brother love to fish, I like it but they are crazy about it.  So they were talking about that while I caught some zzzzzz's in the boat.  The evening was spent at playing pool and watching movies.  Mia and her friends returned so we just hung out, our parents were visiting some friends so it was cool.

Sunday

It was another on again off again rain kinda day.  We had a big cook out for family and friends.  I think there ended up being 30 people.  Mark and his gf Maria, Erika, Beth, Tommy, Mat, and Keith.  And then a bunch of Jon's friends from U of W came, so it as cool.  The rain situation sucked but nothing we could do about it.

Monday

Pretty much just recovered and drove home.

I was listening to 103.5 KISS F.M. sometime last week and the morning show called Drex in the Morning had a very interesting topic.  It was on cheating.  So I thought I would do a little survey on issue.

This was my last fun weekend until the end of the semester.  There is only 3 weeks left of school and I have a ton to do but the end is near.  Friday night I went with Erika, Pete, Josh, Pam, and Maria to see RENT.  I love that show!!!!  We had kick ass seats, something like 10th row center left.  I thought the actors were much better this time around then last.  (but than again I have seen it like 6 times so they start to blend together)

Sat I went to my parents house because I was going to hand out with my other set of friends.  Earlier that day I get a call from Kristin (former girlfriend), she is back in town from school with her new bf and she wanted me to meet him.  Oh goody!!!  Actually it was a little ackward for both of us.  I  mean Kristin and I only broke up because we were going to different colleges. (she is on the west coast)  He seems like a decent guy.  Later that night we saw Kill Bill Vol 2 and then went to Tiffanies to hang out.  Kill Bill is just a crazy movie......I liked it but I am not all that into it.  The evening kinda sucked because it turned out to be a couples night except I was not in a couple so I was like a 11th wheel, which always sucks ass.....If I had of known I would of dragged Erika with me.  But we hung out and than some other peeps joined us and I was not the only one flying solo.

Sunday, I went to the cubs game.  It was an awesome game.  Almost a no hitter.  I love the seats my dad gets from work we were behind home plate.  Although it was kinda cold.  I had a good time.  We were talking with these 2 sisters who were there with their family.  When Joe started to act like a fool, but than again he wouldn't be Joe.
